WHAT: Famed composer John Williams has selected the Young Musicians Foundation’s Annual Gala Concert for the orchestral premiere of pieces from his recent film scores for: The Adventures of Tintin and War Horse, both directed by Steven Spielberg and opening in theaters this Christmas. This performance by YMF’s Debut Orchestra will be the first time these film score selections have been played outside of the recording studio!

“Fish and chips. Chalk and cheese. Apples and oranges. Spielberg and Williams. When it comes to natural pairings nobody gets close to Steven Spielberg and John Williams when it comes to creating memorable movie scores. Their exclusive partnership stretches all the way back to 1974′s The Sugarland Express, and War Horse marks the 25th time Williams has scored a movie for Spielberg.”
